OT's Heinkel of shame

Finish off those kits which are stalled on the workbench, languishing on the sidelines, or lurking on The Shelf of Doom.

It's looking great OT and thanks for the beeswax tip. I use an Aztek that I purchased after my cheap Chinese airbrush packed up. I think I may fix up the cheap one and keep it for enamels.

Interesting tip re the bees wax OT, shame about the bees though. Keep at it, this 111 is coming along nicely.

I got the gondola together, filled in the hole that I don't require for a H2 varient & applied the mask.

Fitted to the underside:

Now I will mask off the upper colours and paint the light blue.

It's getting there.

I wish I did. Question is, can I justify buying another kit?

Of course you can. You can't argue with quality like this & it's at a very reasonable price too. :)

Are you a man or a mouse?

No work on the Heinkel. My iPad died and it had all my reference material on it. Don't trust your iCloud backup - thats all I will say!.

Squeak squeak, pass me the damn cheese, is all I will say

Sorry to hear about your iPad woes OT and it would seem that the iCloud backup doesn't then?

Squeak Squeak ;-)

Actually, I spent quite a bit at Telford and a not inconsiderable amount buying off Ebay in the preceding month. My scattergun bidding plan backfired. I got a lot of bargains but it cost a fortune  .

Mrs Dazzled can be pretty understanding but I don't want to take the mickey, especially as she's bought me the Airfix MkII Lanc and Bomber Resupply set for Xmas and, perhaps, the Roden Boeing 720 "Ceasars Chariot" too.

Maybe post Chrimbo for the Heinkel ;-)

I second other things getting in way of bench time. But seeing as there is a long weekend for me, I will take it and use it to finish that spitfire.

That is, if I can find where I put the flaming can of primer!
