What about the RAF Benevolent Fund Hawk with the British flag heart underneath and 'torn' flag across the back? I suppose you could take artistic freedom and put the heart on top. :)

Thinking of it, any RAF Hawk Display Team would look ace on this car.
Here's a beauty.

I think Sissel is on to something there. But if you want something a bit different how about a Hurricane?

Nice idea I like the hart idea.

I was thinking green/grey with invasion stripes but the modern Arrows marking sound good,

Sissel's idea wins, so I'm going for a modified 2012 Red Arrow scheme with the red hart roundel on the roof and a union flag on the sides.

Love the colour scheme idea. I picked one of these up yesterday from a charity shop for £2.50 so will be following this one with interest.

Great idea with the Arrows scheme Splash. Mind you, a Luftwaffe scheme would have been equally appropriate given that this is a BMW Mini

The kit is quite simple with a nicely moulded one part body. Tonight I have given it a coat of grey primer and will let this set overnight before I mask it for its red white and blue colours.
