Due to the poor finish on the bodywork I have decided to take TimJ's advice and change the colour scheme. Rather than struggling with the silver body I am now going to do this camo version:

It will look great in this scheme, and a bit of fun with camo colors. ;-)

I now regret not choosing a camo scheme with colorful details on mine, it would hide lots of faults. :-D
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

I obviously did not burnish the tape down enough as there has been a bit of paint bleed, easy enough to touch up.

Next up is the fun part of the detail painting.

Nice one, the camo suits it. Paint bleed is a bit of a PITA, but I've had worse :grin: That shouldn't cause you too much hassle to touch up.

I don't know. Putting German markings on an Aston seems like heresy to me... But, looking good so far, nice rescue.

I have been short of time to work on this of late, but I have managed to get the paintwork repaired and the decals on:
