Sissels Marine Cobra ** DNF **
Another copter that's been in my stash for too long. Can't wait to start this.

Re: Sissels Marine Cobra
Nice scheme on a nice model of a nice helicopter!
I'm a mostly full-time modeller put a part-time poster....

Re: Sissels Marine Cobra
I agree, it is very nice. Assembly looks a bit fiddly though. If the fit of all the body halves aren't good, there will be lots of sanding and filling.
I know nothing about the quality of this kit. Rather exciting.

Oh this takes me back. I remember butchering one of these when they first came out in 1988. Obviously before your time Sissel.
IIRC it was a good fitting kit. No idea how accurate it is though because I don't care.
Looking forward to this, what colour scheme are you planning?

Nice choice, Italeri normally make good helicopter kits so it should be a good build.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

I will build the boxart version, OT. That's the only option.

Oh yes, a great fighting chopper Sissel. Hopefully it will behave and go together well for you.

Two helicopters and a DB5 on the bench, it looks like you will be busy this month.

I don't suppose you could post the paint scheme (and colours) could you? I have a Cobra and I don;t like the desert scheme. I think this looks a lot nicer.

Re: Sissels Marine Cobra
I built this kit when it first came out. No issues encountered. The cockpit has no side panels but it is not noticeable through the glass.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale
