Liking this. Have one part built, I would warn that the windscreen wasn't the best fit and was very soft plastic. Rather than cracking when pressed between clippers it left a mark behind (not that you should be doing that to canopies etc, this was found only to see how soft the plastic really was). I also ended up cutting the windscreen into five parts and fitting each separately, from the outside in. Just my experience but thought I would share.

(By the way I think this is my 300th post!!  . Lightweight I know but a milestone none the less).
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Thanks guys and thanks Marky for the heads up on the windscreen issue. My clear parts weren't very clear so needed a lot of polishing to get any clarity and I noticed the soft plastic as well.

Main fuselage is together and has been left for a few days to cure properly:

And a look inside to show that the detail will be visible:

I've made the decision to open the rear doors and the side hatches so that everything is on show; more work but its such a large kit that it seems a waste to hide it all away.

Tis a big veast Tom. I think you are right in doing it with the doors open.

Why not do your Choppers like a Xmas feast with the Mi-2 inside the Mi-8 with that inside the Mi-26. Proper Soviet Stuffing.
