Chatting on Santa's Knee ....

Post by JohnRatzenberger »

While it's a bit to late to drop broad hints around the forum, we can still get in the holiday spirit and chatter away ....

Here are the background chat posts -- initial and set-up.

Many thinks to Brickie, who drafted the rules and did the exchange management.

Rules ?
1. As Santa, be sure to send your gift - that should be done by now.
2. As recipient (Santee?), be sure to finish it by January 31st.
3. Do spend a little time with your family ...
4. Have Fun !!

We're not doing the usual References & Previously Built sections in this GB, in case you were wondering ...

No tree in my house to put mine under. Christmas will be down in St. George where my daughter and her Mom (we have been separated almost 3 yrs) and they have the tree up (unless the dogs have been real brats). I will be heading down Christmas Eve (about a 5 hr drive and possible chance of snow, yay).

I think mine is the last to arrive.

Happy Christmas everyone.

It looks like you all must have been good children, looking at the presents you all got from Santa.

I look forward to watching all your builds.

Rather than posting in everyones individual threads I thought I'd pop a note in here that we all appear to have been very good little boys and girls this year as we all seem to have recieved something(s) very nice indeed! A very nice mix of kits - aircraft (old and new), a tank and a figure!
I think a big well done is deserved by all the Secret Santas!
I'm a mostly full-time modeller put a part-time poster....

Having just had a good look at all the Secret Santa threads and made postings I have to agree with Ian. A nice mix of kits and well done to all the Secret Santa's. Especially me :ha: :ha:

How's it coming along, folks? Only one completion so far - it would be great if we could get 100% completion this year.

My three are progressing nicely; hoping to get more painting done a bit later this arvo, though it's been a busy day for us so far. Still, I've the whole day off tomorrow as well, so I hope to get quite a bit done. Still on target for a finish on all three!
