No.
But it is currently on my desk as I type! The 'surgery' has been repaired now and the wings, intakes and exhausts are on. Just waiting for the filler to dry so I can get them faired in. Once done it's just U/C, fuel tanks and painting.
I want to do the black/orange scheme but time-wise it may have to be one of the all over silver jobs......

How many tables have you flipped in rage so far? (Or benches, if that's your thing).

It's perfectly fine if this doesn't get finished. You just get more time to finish it later in the year. Or something.

BTW, are you going into blitzuary?

Actually, bw, in deference and gratitude to the gifter who has kindly and generously sent a gift, it would be nice of giftees (in general, not pointing fingers at Ian) to get them finished if possible. However, if circumstances prevent a finish, then I'm sure the gifter would understand.

Blohm, Paul is right. We all made a commitment to get these gifts built by the end of the month. And, by jove, I jolly well will! Don't worry, Paul. It will get finished!

I've filed chunks out of the wheels and they now fit. I'll bring some CA to work tonight, then I can get the tub completed then the canopy can go on.
The fuel tanks are on and I've painted what I can silver. The black/day-glo scheme has gone out of the window.
As I'm building in the office I don't have my camera, so no pics. Sorry.

I don't actually have that much to do now. Just the little bits and pieces and the paint and decals.

Good perseverance, Ian, with what seems to be a bit of a difficult kit. Looking forward to photos of the wee beastie!

Bad news. My CA has also been packed! I've managed to use poly to get the sticks back in place and the canopy is on. It's painted and I've started on the decals. They're thin and like folding up on themselves. Grrr!
Only managed to ruin one of the maple leaves so far. I expect to lose more.....
Getting there, slowly! Once they're on I can add the gear doors and that's it.

Ouchie, that's quite a fight getting the IPs in there.
Sounds like a typical few hours left of a blitzbau here with the obstacles coming. But you can do it!

Here's where I was when I went to bed last night.

I gave up with the stencils as there are just too many and I don't have the time. I've started painting the gear doors this morning ready to be attached later. I've also added and painted the 2 aerials and added all the decals that I'm going to put on.
You'll note the wire sticking out from the underside. I forgot to add the nose weights......
Not much to do and not much time. Meeting Mrs. Ian for lunch so I'd better crack on as today is my deadline.
