Here is the boxart and sprues.

I've made a bit of a start. Started to paint the crew and interior. Nothing worthy of pictures just yet.

The crew are all set. Although one of them is lying down on the job.

Gosh, I'm so envious of you guys who have been able to get started! I'm no thom etil next Tuesday!

Good start, N - are the figures from the kit, or from Revell's figure set? Either way, they look good.

The figures were with the kit Paul.

My one bug bear with Revell kits is the mixing of paints. As always they recommend this with the main colours of the aircraft. A bit (not much!) research led me to Humbrol 243 and 244. Guess which are 2 of only about 5 Humbrol paints I don't have?!

So while I put off the inevitable I put the wings and props together today. I've never been up close and personal with this aircraft but it must have been fair sized beast. Given the size of the wings I mean.

Good progress there Naryan!

Your right, its a lot bigger than I would have thought. TBH I haven't seen one of these built for a very long time, so will be interested in your take on the kit.

Nice! Pity the plastic isn't in three wildly unsuitable colours though, for the true Matchbox experience!

Great start Narayan, that is a biggie - it can't be much smaller than a He-111.

I haven't had much time available to work on this for the last 2 or 3 weeks and even less to post any updates.

The kit goes together really nicely. A little filler required at the wing joints but nothing too much.

I'm hoping to start painting over the next few days.

Looking good Narayan. It was a good looking floatplane, IMO.
