The overwing fuel tanks look a bit overscale... :ha:

That was so they could travel great distances.

How is the fit of the glazing? Don't want you to ruin your paintwork having to sand everything to get a good fit.

Fit of the glazing is ok for the most part. A little work required on the main canopy was all.

Unfortunately tonight was the first opportunity I'd had to even look at the aircraft since my last update 11 days ago. I got the first coat of one of the camouflage colours on. That took quite a bit of time and there are some fiddly bits. There's a reason the instructions recommend painting the floats before attaching them. Who knew!

Needles to say this won't be completed before the deadline. Sincere apologies to my Secret Santa for that. But it's better to get this right rather than rush it for a deadline. So progress will continue in my workbench thread when this GB closes.

Do you need to take the weekend extension to get her done?

I'm in Blighty this weekend so won't get back to this until Tuesday unfortunately.

Realistically it's going to take 2 more weeks I'm afraid. Huge apologies to my Secret Santa but this is taking priority and it will get finished.
