Excellent, that Halfords rattle can looks to have provided a nice smooth coat.

On it's u/c now and preparing to be primed for it's Dayglo areas. Behind is it's older stable-mate from a Chipmunk GB from many years ago. It's a tad faded having languished on a windowsill for a long time and has lots it's tail-wheel. In need of restoration methinks...

The older build could be said to have weathered naturally

Anti glare nose paint applied and having another go at the tailplane Dayglo. It went on evenly everywhere else except for the tailplane which is odd. So stripped it off and having another go:

Tailplane Dayglo better but not as good as I managed on my RAF Sioux GB. It looks like the remainder of my Tamiya Dayglo orange has curdled by the looks of it, all dark mottles which won't stir out. Haven't had that happen before. So it'll have to do.

Canopy framing applied. Just the pitot and decals to go then, after a few minor touch ups that'll be it. But saving the finish for tomorrow so it can be my first finish of 2014 :-D

Well done on the fluo orange, which often always is a pita.
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...
