Greg's prezzie.

Post by Gregers »

OK. Someone's been reading my mind. Nice one :-D
My gift is the Trumpeter 1/72 Swedish S tank. I have been thinking of getting one of these to go with my collection of SAAB aircraft. A huge thank you to my Secret Santa, good choice. There was a note on the prezzie saying that he knows I miss my old Saab (I miss all of them in fact - all damn fine cars) and I am a 'cold war' nut. Pics to follow but a great choice and again thank you SS.

All the best.

An 'S' tank, talk about obscure!

I had an old Aurora one back in the 70s, man that was a long time ago!

It looks a great little kit. For those who don't know the type here's the wiki link.

That is a good looking tank Gregers.

I have always liked the look of them. Are you going to do that funky splinter camo scheme?

I like the sound of that Greg. Any pictures to tease us with?

I will take some piccies quite soon. Am a bit busy after Christmas and I need to charge my camera batteries up but I'll get it done soon as I want to make a start on the kit. It'll be done in the standard 4 tone cammo scheme so sorry, no splinter scheme (I hand painted this on an Airfix Viggen years ago, never again....

Hmmm, I double-dare you to do the splinter scheme... All those in favour of Greg doing the splinter scheme, raise your right hands.

One, two, three, four... :-D
