Do you still have faith, Alan?

Progress has stooled for a short while, Yesterday whilst cleaning the cars I twisted my back and sitting at the bench is not an option for a couple of days.

Its only a mild twinge that from past experience should disappear after a couple of days.

Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

For those of a certain age will remember this from the BBC:

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Ah, the potter's wheel........funny, I seem to remember that the pot gets all floppy and spins off the wheel, but not in this one.....

My backs now fixed and I'm back at the bench again, tonight I gave it a coat of satin before I add the decals.

I'm now looking at how to make a base.

You could try making the base out of a small piece of Balsa wood, then cover in in a dark green-grey. For the sandbags, I heard milliput can work well for shaping out small things, and I think some other brands of filler might be able to do it too.

Have faith splash.

Sorry due to a lack of bench time due to a back injury, I have not had the chance to spend as much time and effort into this GB as I would have liked to.

I had intended to add the sandbags and other items to the display but I will now just settle for Faith on its own.
