That's some impressive scratchbuilding, the stairs look just right for the scale too!

with the canopy glued down in place and the frames painted the upper surface camouflage of Revell Aqua 46 & 68 (mixed green) and 87 (Brown) has been applied.

The colour demarcation has been masked off and the black has been applied, the final details were then fitted and painted in and the exterior was gloss varnished. The next task was to fit the steps and gantry and glaze the side windows with PVA, I am now waiting for the PVA to dry before the last pictures can be taken to finish the model.

Two windows have filled OK and are almost dry but one failed and has been dug out and re filled with PVA. The wait begins again.

One window is causing difficulties and is just keeping me away from the finishing line, because it is very close to the T1154 radio and the W/OP desk these parts pull the PVA inwards as it dries. I am now going to let the PVA thicken slightly before the third attempt.

Eventually I gave in trying to glaze this with PVA and cut pieces of clear plastic to fit the apertures, so completing the Halifax build.
The finished model. PN323 Handley Page Halifax A. mk VII nose restored as a teaching aid/walk through display, Imperial War Museum, South Lambeth, Lomdon.
