A great finish. Love the stairs and platform.

Its just a thought.

Can I make a suggest to your museums curator? The big black sides to the a/c display would make a great display area for photos of the Hallybag in service, this would give visitors something to look at whilst waiting their turn to enter the display.

Splash, this isn't an invention it is a model of a real cockpit in the IWM, Lambeth, the model is how the real thing looks.

Sorry David.

I visited the IWM in Nov 2012 and their was virtually nothing on display apart from a A2 and Polaris missile a couple of a/c hanging up and the large holocaust display, nothing like I recall from my visits as a child back in the 60's, I was really disappointed.

I have just visited the IWM website and it looks like they are totally rebuilding the inside and there is currently nothing on display.

I apologise for not realising yours is a model of the real thing, I wonder where they have moved it to?

Splash, Most of the exhibits are at Duxford until they can be moved back after the builders have finished.
The mk4 WW1 tank is being restored and the latest pictures show it in red oxide primer with apparently refurbished bogies, with luck it will lose the 1950s Bronze Green in favour of the correct brown finish. Monties humber has been repainted in Light Stone/Dark Green desert colours.
If you google the exhibits there are pictures of them in storage at Duxford, which I see you have found.

Very good, I remember "walking" through this on a school trip, in 2009.
