This one is nearly finished and the Halifax is complete, I will drop the Grant tank for later and that leaves the Shackleton which should be finished on time.

David, what's happened to the third fuel tank?

One of the many, many problems with the MB kit is that the fuel tanks are nowhere near the correct size.

Since you wanted the angled front fenders, I wonder why you just didn't start with the Airfix kit. The Airfix hull is no worse than the MB one (faint praise ...).

Bruce, this particular preserved T34 has just two drop tanks so that is how many I fitted and the Revell/MB kit was in the stash and the Airfix kit wasn't. I like the detail on the Revell/MB hull which is why I originally bought it over the Airfix kit. :)

The wheels and tracks came next and these have been joined together, painted and fitted, the turret, drivers' hatch and the tow cable are now also in position, completing the model.

The finished model, T34/76 tank built by plant 183 in December 1943 and modified post war for use by the 3rd Training Tank Regiment of the Polish Army. Now displayed at the Armoured Forces Museum of the Stefan Czarnecki Military Adademy in Poznan.

I like the finish on that. The turret has come out a treat.
