Re: The Blitzbau House - BenchQueen Special
It's a great shame about those Hurricane and Puma decals OT. It's also a shame if you bin the Hurri but I understand your frustration as there are few things worse in modeling than an disaster almost at the end of the build. I almost binned a new tool Airfix MkI Spitfire earlier in the year that suffered a terminal varnish disaster after the decals had been applied. However, after calming down and discussing the problem with others on here, I kept the model and will get around to refurbishing it with some new decals. Onwards and upwards with the Corsiar then!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: The Blitzbau House - BenchQueen Special
Calling it a day so this is where I got to.
The Puma is at the decalling stage.
Will finish off the decals later & give it a Matt coat. Watch the whirlybird GB for progress.
The Corsair is nearly done.
Just the U/C doors & a few aerials left to do.
The sabre is waiting for another coat of Klear.
Thanks for looking & see you all for the next Blitzbau in February.

Well, seems you got a fair bit done over these 24 hours. Great going
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

Thanks Sissel, it was a shame about the Hurricane but 2 of the other 3 are just about done so it was worth the effort.Prisca wrote:Well, seems you got a fair bit done over these 24 hours. Great going
