It's Humbrol Metalcote polished aluminium, with a washover of thinned Tamiya Smoke, rubbed back with a cotton bud.

Peasy

(Must be said I don't often go for these bastardised fruity ciders, but the Dark Fruit one is rather nice).

Dark fruit cider is just wrong.

You need to pack your bags & get out of Yorkshire now. I believe this sort of thing is allowed down South.

Mig is looking good bye the way. Are those Albanian markings?

Fruity ciders are lovely! Very refreshing on a hot summer day. And a cold winter day, too!
The MiG's looking good. I guess it'll be done soon.......

Mig is looking good now Brickie. I'm not much of a cider fan myself. My local has been serving up Guzzler ale from York for the last few weeks and it's a decent pint.

I've been seeing these Strongbow cider thingies in several blitz threads. I'll have to get some on my next England trip.

Mig coming along great!
Looks like it got its nose stuck in the bottle. Was it thirsty too? :ha:
Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

Guzzler's a fine pint indeed.

The MiG's been attempting to tail-sit, but attaching the drop-tanks seems to have cured it.

Been watching Empire Strikes Back, but will post a finish-line photo before I turn in.

And with her two shelf-brethren, both made from the Airfix kit.

Well done Brickie, that has turned out very well. That's a nice trio of MiG-15s you have there.

Good job on the blitz. Nice comparison shot also.
