Beany's List

Beany's List

First thoughts are towards Classic Box Art dioramas of:

Airfix 1/12 Bengal Lancer; the Emergency Set; the Refuelling Set and the 1/72 Golden Hind.

Cheers
Al.

EDIT: I've just had a quick thumb through The Vintage Years of Airfix Box Art by Roy Cross and I may have to do A Bit O' Lace, because SOMEONE has to do it sooner or later don't they?!

Go for it Al.

The Bengal Lancer refuelling the Golden Hind while it's on fire.

What a diorama that'll be

Thanks to a very generous donation of the kit from Darryl, I have begun work on the Airfix B-17G "A Bit O' Lace" Roy Cross box-art diorama. It is another wall hanger and I will construct a stand so it can stand vertically at the back of the display table (as per my Douglas Invader dio. at Farnborough last year) so shouldn't take up too much room per se.
Cheers

Unfortunately due to a recent period of ill health I will have not have anything I started finished for Telford this year. I'll still be coming for both days but will only be able to bring some of the models I had at Farnborough. I'm still looking forward to the weekend and already feel a great sense of relief having made the decision to abandon my new builds rather than rush them. I hope they will be finished in time for Huddersfield instead.

Cheers
Al.

Totally agree with James, it's good to know you'll still be with us for the weekend, wouldn't be the same without you Al!
