MattB's "to-do" list...

Post by mattbacon »

OK, I think I've narrowed things down a bit ;-P

These are the options:

Airfix 1/24 "James Bond" Aston Martin DB5 (with box!)
Revell 1/72 "S-Sugar" Lancaster Box Art Dio
Airfix 1/72 "Then and Now" twofer (like the Spitfire IX's) either Harrier (already in hand) or EE Lightning (still to be bought)
Matchbox 1/32 Aston Martin Ulster (possibly with innovative CBK display base featuring Airfix MG Magnette and 1933 Alfa Romeo as well...)
Airfix 54mm Life Guard or French Cuirassier
Airfix 1/12 Showjumper (she just needs finally finishing!)
Pyro 1/48 Hawker Fury (with "corrections", this time...)

bestest,
M.

I wouldn't mind seeing any of them! Excellent choices all round.

I see a small theme starting to appear with the Airfix Napoleonics - I also have a few of these in the stash and need an excuse to build one or two. A small section of one table as a Waterloo commemoration, perhaps? 2015 will be the 200th anniversary, after all.

But if we put off the Waterloo 200th to the proper year, I can stall another year on my Riflemen :ha:

A display of cars would be nice.

The showjumper would certainly be unusual. I'd say, go for that. :)

Hi Matt,

Are you intending on sending any kits my way for the show?

Thanks
James

Sorry, James ,,, all the above remain "pipe-dreams", since I haven't touched the bench (except to dismantle it) since mid-July. The man-cave is taking shape again in the new garage, but I'm not even in a position to glue styrene together yet, never mind paint...
