Tim's little black numbers **Finished**
For my first Blitz I'll be building the Revell 1/144 F-19.
There is a bit of flash on some of the parts, but on the other hand there aren't many of them.
Despite it's small size, the decal sheet has plenty on it.

That is a nice entry. How about a Wif scheme?

Re: Tim's little black number
I do have a pair of them and was thinking of Blitzing them both together, one in the kit markings and t'other as a Wif.jssel wrote:How about a Wif scheme?

Re: Tim's little black number
Looks like another one of revell's blitz kits.

Your first blitz? I wish you the best of luck and hope you have a great time.
You might catch the blitz bug.

I came very close to picking one of these up on Thursday! Who cares if it doesn't exist, it looks cool.

Great choice Tim and yes, who cares that it doesn't exist, it fits the bill for a Blitz kit.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: Tim's little black number
I should have said my first Blitz this year as I have Blitzed before. In fact, Blitzbaus are the only type of GB where I have a 100% completion record.
No pressure then.

Absolutely none Tim. We won't keep reminding you at all, especially if the decals disintegrate on contact with water or the wheels fall off with two minutes to goTimJ wrote: I should have said my first Blitz this year as I have Blitzed before. Re: Tim's little black number **Wednesday 5th**
Don't worry, I'm here. It's pouring with rain and wheely bins are lying around after being blown over by the wind. Perfect Blitzing weather.
First impressions aren't good, lots of flash and one intake shorter than the other. What else could I do but get the other one out, after all, it couldn't be any worse, could it? Well, in parts it was. The rear end was completely flashed over.
Still, must carry on, so after some sanding to get the upper and lower halves to fit properly I fitted the intake blanking pieces (one of which I had to retrieve from the carpet monster) and closed up the fuselages.
I can see quite a bit of sanding coming up to make them look decent and I need to find some WIF markings for number 2. On the plus side, once I've finished this pair I won't have to build any more of the little blighters.
Oh, did I mention that the undercarriage and weapons bay have to be painted white.

Wheel up and bays closed is the way to go with these! I'm surprised you didn't simply grab the best parts from the 2 boxes. I would have done. Well done for not taking the easy option!
If you'd said earlier, I have spare 1:144 decals from the Revell Tornados and Harriers I could have sent you.

You have good progress there. I built the Testors one in 1/48th and it was a filler magnet.
