So,
The good news is that the paints and brushes are back in the cupboard and bar sticking on the tanks and rocket pods, the Hunter is basically built and painted.
The bad news is that it's half past one and there seem to be a heck of a lot of decals for this kit!
Whilst I get on with that, here are some links to photos of No.20 squadron Hunters, including the one I'm Blitzing at airfields in Singapore and Chiang Mai, in Thailand, on counter insurgency operations in the early 1960's:

http://conanguycarpenter.blogspot.co.uk ... ter-2.html
This Chiang Mai airfield shown from the air now welcomes tourists.
This is also an interesting link to a Reuters news item about No.20 sqn arriving in Thailand in 1962:

Time for another brew before doing the decals - a strong one.

All decals now applied. There were 39 different decals, with many of them having 4 copies! Should have thought a bit more about that before signing up for this!

Re: Jaime's Oriental Hawker: ***COMPLETED***
Just finished!
Really enjoyed this kit - although it was tough to do in 24 hours - and it's made me want to build the Airfix Seahawk now.
This is the completed model as of a couple of minutes ago and I'll get some nicer pics done tomorrow morning as I really must go to bed now!
Good night all!

Well done, Jaime! Sorry for not posting in between your posts. Had to do some work, which is usually not the case on a night shift. Haven't even done much on my Endeavour.
I think that's come out looking really good. Always nice to have a photo of the 'real thing', too! Great work.

Congrats on completing your first blitz. It looks great. Well done!
Book the next weekend for the SeaHawk. I've enjoyed following this blitz.
