Jaime's Oriental Hawker: ***COMPLETED***

Post by Jaime »

My First Blitzbau...

This will be fitted in around my youngest's football and rugby matches as well as 6 Nations matches either next weekend 8/9th Feb or the following weekend... or the following weekend....

There are two options in the box and I will be building the No.20 Sqn version, stationed at RAF Tengah, Singapore in 1962, which was also sent up to Chiang Mai in Thailand to assist in anti-insurgency operations there.

Best of luck with your first blitz Jaime. Gawd knows what this old Hunter is like as I've never built one but hopefully it will behave itself for you.

A bit hungover so will be starting at (about) 11:00 GMT.

To make it a bit more interactive, the chimes that will say 'AND HE'S OFF!' can be heard at the online grandfather clock I'll be using, here: http://www.online-stopwatch.com/grandfa ... ll-screen/.

Well, I don't have a clock! Not one that fits on a desk anyway!

You could use your phone, wrist watch etc.

From the rules, clearly stated in first thread in Blitzbau chat here:
Photos to be taken with a visible clock, at reasonable intervals throughout the build to document progress
If there is no clock you can use to document time, that's a shame. And allthough rules (especially in a blitzbau) are important to read and follow, I suppose we'll have to take your word for it. If no clock, then it's more important to post the pics of the start and finished model straight after you take them so we'll know it's within 24 hours.
