Hope you're better soon, because the blitz needs blitzing!

After just starting to paint a few pieces I see I need to wash the plastic. Paint will just not stick.
Also have this to accompany me through this blitz.
I'm a small Pink Floyd fan, and I really fancy Astrid's version of Another Brick In The Wall. Her look and angry voice says it all.

There's nothing like healthy food to help you get over illness......and that's nothing like healthy food!
Astrid has an interesting voice. I prefer Sissel Kyrkjebø, though - got a few of her albums.

The snacks look good Sissel- energy food, perfect for recuperation.
I like the Astrid version of 'Another Brick-' I have not heard of her and as Paul said she does have an interesting voice.
David.

I haven't had time for one snack yet!
Was far too focused on the interior of the planes. Can't believe I spent almost one hour trying to get the easy cockpit assembly together. Waiting for paint to dry so add IP decal. Repainting cockpit of P-40 due to first choosing wrong color, doh.
Yes, Astrid's voice is very special. I'm no fan of IDOL and those sorta programs but I hope she makes it out there. She definitely caught my eye, think it was last year.
Thinking of ordering Thai food later. I really hope to get a fair bit with these as there's some Olympic events to watch in a few hours!
In the meantime, silence please!

Looking forward to these as I have both in the stash. Hope you have a good day building them. I know for sure if I tried it parts of one kit would end up on the other.
Re: Sissel is Zeroing in a Tomahawk! ** Started **
The cockpits are very snug fits. Very close tolerances. But a slight adzing with a blade should do the trick. But it looks like you are past that now.

Surprisingly Jeff I've not had any problems with the fit of the cockpits. On the Zero it 'slipped' right in.
D-Man, definitely need to keep tongue in check to not mix parts. That's the danger of building two new tool kits next to each other. But I do think I've got it under control.
It doesn't show much, but I've added filler in the wing roots, and all around the nose cracks at the P-40. Fit has been fine so far, but the P-40's installments up front requires filling and sanding. Also managed to break something here so that's why extra filler is needed, I was silly cutting a part to have it fit but cut off too much, doh! Also broke of a tiny bit of something under the fuselage, but filler will fix that too.
Only one hour till a forced break to watch Curling and Biathlon. This will be a looong night.
And thanks to those checking in.

Great Jams,Sissel. And terrific progress on the two. Kind of an Allied/Axis thing going on.

Happy to see you back in action.
I just watched the US women loose to Switzerland in curling. I have to get up early to watch as SWMBO isn't a fan and makes rude remarks. I have spent the last couple days, so far unsuccessfully, trying to persuade SWMBO to make me a quilt jacket like the US Snowboarders have.

Cheers guys, thanks for checking tuning in.
It's going really slow and not much happened since last update. Got a couple of undercarriage doors on. Fiddling around with tiny parts and glue. One part flew over the cuckoos nest, I'm not gonna bother look for it, it's tiny, really... tiny.
Then I've been repainting wheel bays and inside of doors on Zero as I wasn't sure of the green color I'd chosen, instructions doesn't say anything. Online photos I've found now show the green which I had first painted, doh! So I'll repaint a second time then...
John, why don't you try persuade her with flowers, a poem, and chocolate?
The curling match I'm gonna watch is the men's Norway vs USA.
Now I'm taking several hours break to watch the Olympics and then later, eat take away Thai food. Yummy.
See you later!
