Sissel chases a diving snake ** Finished **

Post by Sissel »

Ever since I saw the boxart I knew I had to get this kit. The snake along the fuselage sold me.
A great scheme.

I like the snake too but not so keen on the canopy framing.

What, the canopy doesn't appeal to you?? :ha:

Got a feeling this will be a real challenge time wise. Three color camo on top, decals (not knowing how the snake is cut up, if it is).
I'll do the canopy frames freehand as usual. As there's so many I really, really need steady hands.

Not particularly. Painting canopy framing isn't one of my favourite pastimes.

I first thought of starting at 3 pm, in 30 minutes. But I have to watch biathlon starting then. Then there's the hockey match at 6 pm.
I'll start in between or after. ;-)

Thissssssss will be good. Hope you can "scale" it without to much trouble. Is the snake in red or tan color. Just curious.

Biathlon.....now that is real event. Love it.

OK, so the undersurface color shows thru clear openings in the decal. Cool idea. Never saw this kit before. I have the 1/32 21st Century kit and the snake is in white and tan and not red like it has been portrayed.

This snake-adorned Stuka is a subject I have wanted to build for some time and seeing that there is a 1/72 kit is very good news, this kit is now firmly listed on this year's wants list.

You need a TV by your workbench, you are allowing the Olympics to get in the way of modeling.

Unfortunately I won't be able to watch/cheer as we're gone all day to my club meeting.
