I'm just finishing a Super Mystere, it's taken me 9 weeks, on and off (mostly off  ).

If you do decide on the Super Mystere I presume you won't be doing the three tone camo. :)

I found a picture of number 708 from the decal sheet in the blue/brown over grey scheme. That mey be the one for the Mystere. The F86D may be a second blitz.

@Tim........Is your interior black in color? I thing most Dassault aircraft are but not sure.

I did paint it black. I found some cockpit photos after a quick Google which helped.

Eight hours and counting down. Better get some sack time. Hard to sleep before a blitzbau.

I've spoken with the GBL and I get bonus points for using glue, paint and decals. Plus I can use a real hobby knife this build.

Bonus points for glue, paint and decals? what on earth are you building Jeff? Real hobby knives should only be used under the supervision of a responsible adult. It's a well known fact that modellers can't be trusted with sharp objects :ha:

Make sure you have an adult with you in case you cut yourself, spill glue or paint your fingers, so that person can help stitch you up, and clean up the mess. :ha:

Good morning ladies and germs. I just flew in from Marquette. Boy are my arms tired.

OK I am set. First three photos of the layout I am attempting to get into photobucket and have a virus alert. Please stand by while I clear this out. Sheesh...........what a start.

Checking in with the first hour update.

Overview:

Image

Cockpit are got a little treatment in the form of a control stick and side consoles. Not much is seen when it is buttoned up.

State of play:

Breaking with traditional building methods, I try to get all the piece in two halves together quickly while other stuff is setting up.
