Thanks Jaime, Ian.
With the addition of the propeller, canopy and wheels followed by a little discrete weathering the model is finished with just over one hour to go.

The old tool Airfix Spitfire mk1a detailed and converted into F.mk2a P8088 'Borough of Lambeth, AKA "Bette" using surplus Airfix decals from the spares box. Here is the final timed shot showing the official stop time.

I will add the gallery shots when the camera batteries have recharged.

Glad you made it - you had me worried there for a while. That would have been far too complex a task for me!

Jaime- I'm sure you could do this sort of work with practice, there were a number of spoilt models along the way experimenting with the tricks I used on this model and I am sure I will spoil a few more in the future doing the same on other ideas and methods.

Sissel, yes I had been up all that time but towards the end the coffee breaks and fatigue were slowing down the build somewhat. I have since been fast asleep and am now enjoying a belated (15.18 hrs) morning coffee.

Thanks despondman, Jeff.

A great build David, and I really like the underside weathering.
