Nice one, adding a bit of detail too, great work in a blitz.

The original Revell Hurri (SD*N) was the defining moment in my model building adventure. It was painted with a hairy stick gloss red. My uncle produced William Green's Famous Fighter books and the rest is history.
Great stuff here.

Cheers Ian, Sissel, Shaun, Jeff, I am currently pre-painting the cockpit floor/seats, propellers and undercarriage, when the paint is dry I will post the pictures.

with the cockpit and small parts painted and the Tamiya Tape straps in place the wings can be attached to the fuselages.

with both assemblies now joined up and waiting for the glue to dry another short break is called for before I can continue.

Excellent, these are fair flying together (no pun intended  ). The seats look to be having the desired effect of filling the cockpit voids.

Thanks Shaun, Ian. Nothing new to show yet, have filled the seams, when this has dried I can rub them down and fit the tailplanes ready for painting and final assembly.

I did have a quick snack earlier Jeff so I'm not too hungry just now. The problem now is to wait for the filler as it dries out, although the parts fitted well they were not as even as we would expect of a modern kit so even after some sanding down there is still a step to fill in along the fuselage halves, underneath and behind the wing.

The seams have been sanded down and the canopies & tailplanes are glued on, the next job will be to paint both models starting with the undersides.

Sissel, these models were very simple and an old model needn't be a troublesome one. Despite being so innacurate they still do look good, don't they.

The undersides of both models have had two coats of Humbrol 90 acrylic, when this has dried the upper/lower colour division will be masked off for the Dark Earth upper base colour.
