Great to see the first of the paint on David. Fancy that, there are folks on here who thought you would've nodded off at such a crucial stage. I don't know where they got that idea from

Shaun, LOL
I have left the Sky undersides alone to harden a little before moving on, I really don't want to lift the paint off with the masking tape at this point. The undercarriage has been glued in place and when it is firm enough I will take pictures of that and the models after painting on the Dark Earth.
David.

The undersides are here painted Sky, they have been left to harden and both sets of undercarriage have been fitted.
Both models are now painted in Dark Earth upper base coat, when this is dry the Dark Green can go down and then the varnish and decals will be applied. The end is getting near.

Missed all the build, but here for the finish. It's that other side of the world thing. Good work David.

Cheers Nigel.
Both current identities for an old stager from 1963, a model many of us will remember packaged within a 'frameable box top' carton.

One of these was one of the first kits I ever built & painted, perhaps 45+ years ago now. I'm happy to say that yours look untold better than mine did back then. Those look beaut for what they are.
