Alpha is busily decalling his Mig. Sadly he mistook my Tamiya extra thin cement for the Tamiya Mark Soft. One of the red stars is now appropriately weathered. Also, several beers and associated spirits have been consumed so things are getting a bit silly.

Ahaha, good work, glad to hear some alcohol is involved, always interesting. You're going well.

Just about to spray some aluminium on the Lightning. I love Matchbox kits. They react well to glue and sanding, they are generally a good fit. This one has raised detail instead of panel lines so I lost a bit in the sanding. I don't measure against plans, I'm not a rivet counter, and the finished article looks like a Lightning to me. More pictures shortly.

You better not let Shaun see those kippers.
Both kits seems to be going really well, and fast too!
Glad to hear you're consuming alcohol to help the steadyness of the build.
I'm going to watch the woman's cross country relay then I'll be starting my build.

Proper blitz food and great progress.

Great choice of kits, particularly the old MB Lightning and you boys are off to a good start. Apart from breakfast. Oh my Goddd, kippers. My old man, gawd bless him, used to love them. Not pour moi I'm afraid.
