Beautiful finish on the Lightning. And the Mig looks properly weathered. Well done all around.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

Both finished with about half an hour to spare..... pictures coming.

The Mig this morning....
Masked up for the black bits - Mr Hobby Tyre Black ( dried with a hairdryer. )
The crashed mig on custom made snow base. Prop blades bent in hot water.
The Lightning on it's Airfix stand. Red Tops haven't been fitted for this flight. Calling it finished, but don't look for decals on the underside yet !
I'll post a couple of glamour shots later.
