This is going great. And look at that dinner, makes me hungry. I just had homemade tuna fish salad though. Do you feel the same about fish as Shaun, Tim?

Re: Tim's '34 Ford Street Rod **Started**
Two updates in one here as after previewing the last one I forgot to submit it.
I've done some painting on the chassis. As everything is moulded in parts of it are quite tricky to paint but so far it's going OK.
I moved the rear lights so that they fitted better, which meant that I had some tidying up to do on the rear panel.
Since then I've given the body and fenders a couple of coats of Satin Black from a Halfords rattlecan.
I've also done some more painting on the interior.
Until next time, here's some music.....

Oh, you're going black. Looks good.
And that's a classic tune.

I must admit I did like the purple of the box cover but the black is looking very nice.

Getting this done in great shape. Yes, Black or ZZ Top Red is the way to go

Thanks for the comments folks.
I had to shorten the metal axles a little to get the wheels to fit under the fenders but I now have a rolling chassis.
As usual I couldn't resist a quick mock up so I put the body on.
If I build another one of these it will be more colourful than this one.
And now, more ZZ Top.

The chassis was completed by fitting the radius rods.
Then I added Bare Metal Foil to the windscreen surround and window winders before fitting the windows.
Nearly there now. The next update should be the finished article.

I like it, are you sticking with satin black or are you going for high gloss.
I personally like the satin finish.

Re: Tim's '34 Ford Street Rod **Finished**
I'm sticking with the satin finish. If it wasn't a Blitz I might have gone for a high gloss finish but I like it as it is.
The interior tub fitted together well.
After fitting it into the body I screwed the chassis to the body, added the rear lights and license plate to finish it off.
I'll take some glamour (and in focus) shots tomorrow.

Well done. A very good blitz and I enjoyed watching this one go.
