That's a very attractive plane that I was not familiar with. I like the cannon mounts below. neat.

Beautiful build, Paul.

Thanks, David. Those are the cannon pods that come with the kit - standard items. The one I see in photos of B-1 is definitely non-standard, but there's no photo proof that I can find that it was used on B-2, so I went with the kit ones instead.

He must be thinking of Sabrina The Witch...

I don't know what you guys are talking about and why he mentioned Sabrinas. The only known Sabrina to me is from the comedy show Sabrina The Witch. That's why I said he must be thinking of her.
So I'm not thinking or wanting to think, anything... Sorry for making a joke.

On serious note, why are the gun pods called Sabrina's?

As I explained to someone else (why did I assume this was common knowledge?  ), in the fifties, there was a young English starlet with a large chest, named Sabrina - so the pods under the chest of the Hunter were, naturally, nicknamed Sabrinas.....

Still, we are getting a loooong way from a Swiss Potez..... :ha:

No pics, but I've added a dark grey wash to the panel lines, nothing too heavy, and am aiming to get the final touches done tonight.

Sorry Paul I have heard them called that for so many years I never thought it was a nickname I just assumed it was a technical term, you live and learn.

I look forward to seeing the finished item.

Well, Splash, I dare say it IS a technical term.

Wait. I used the wrong smiley. It should have been this:

Nice model, Paul. The color scheme really enhances the lines.
Really nothing pithy to say.
