Just needs a little touch up around the windscreen and some of the lower framing - there's white glue drying in there at the moment.

Thanks for watching! 8-)

Beautiful work. Swiss in bare metal: A nice combo

Thanks, guys.

It is a nice kit, once you've removed most of the 'clinker-built' look of the surface detail - leaving just a hint that shows up nice surface variation under a coat of NMF. The canopy is not the best of fits, and my attempt at sanding it to shape didn't work out so well. I painted over the white glue this morning and it doesn't look too terrible. Otherwise, it is an excellent base for super-detailing, if you don't want to spend big bucks on the Azur kit. I spent far more on the decals than on the kit; if you can pick up the kit cheaply at a show (which is where I got mine), then go for it!

See, it turned out lovely! Now go and write out a hundred times "I can do group builds" and, no you may not use the copy and paste facility!

Nice finish Paul, never seen one built before let alone in Swiss markings.

It looks very striking on the all silver finish, something different from the usual green and greys of WWII.

Indeed, although it was repainted in camo later. Pity they couldn't buy more - then they might have seen longer service and, perhaps, the lovely 'candy stripe' markings from 1943 onwards.
