It's taken me about an hour to do half the blotches, and it'll need at least another coat on top of this and then stippling, so I've got a goodly amount still to do. However, I'm quite enjoying the challenge at the moment - and it's good to get to the blotching after all the filling and sanding. Whether I still feel that way after the next couple of nights, we'll see.
