The blasted weather kept me busy last night. Blizard conditions once again on top of freezing rain. So my scheduled painting session is delayed.

Here is an overview of the work so far. RLM 65 applied to the bottom and RLM 70/71 will go on top.

As others have already stated, the glass framing makes for a lot of masking. At least the panes are square mostly. My glue of choice for glass mounting is Testors Clear cement. It is a lot like PVA glue but dries much clearer. You can use it to make small windows without to much fuss.

So storm is breaking up and hopefully tonight the uppers will be painted.

It has been crazy with disaster type stuff. Mostly house fires. My territory is 350 miles from end to end but I have volunteers scattered all over to take the pressure off and speed assistance. But this has been a hectic week and one half.

Really like this kit.

She's coming along great, Jeff. Well done on the masking. :)

Hope you get a quieter weekend.

OK. Paints on and touch up's in progress.

The nose will get a faint white coat. I have read that ZG26 changed nose colors on a regular basis.

I am getting along ok with Model Master enamels other than the odors. I will miss Poly Scale. Must try out the various other acrylics.

You've definitely done it much better then my attempt. For sure

I'm almost a little put off.

That is the last thing I want is putting anyone off.

I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Allthumbs. 4.0 GPA.

But I appreciate the sentiment. And even though in the last hour I broke off all the landing gear doors, I really do like this kit.

I feel set with the painting now and began sorting the decals from the ExtraDecal 70th Anniversary BoB Luftwaffe sheet.
