She looks smoken Jeff.

Modelmaster paints are cool, I just received an example of a new brand of railroad paint my distributor represents, want to try it soon.

They spray and brush nicely. The only down side is the drying time.

The decaling is done. I combined the Airfix sheet with the ExtraDecal sheet. Both performed well. A coat of future sealed them all down with no silvering. :-D The ExtraDecal sheet includes a supplement sheet of crosses and swaskitas. Enough to do six additional aircraft so this will be a welcome addition to the spares tote. And that white chevron that I thought would disappear int the white paint on the nose? Well it did not.

Later today I will carefully remove the masking and see what kind of mess I wil have to clean up. Add some antenna wires and touch up the position lights and other details.

I have no complains about this kit at all. Any issues were created by me the builder. Bravo Airfix.

Great work on the paint and decals. I look forward to seeing it with the canopy masks off.

Time to call this one finished.

So the masking came off without a hitch and the only touch up was along the base of the clear piece were you see a white line from light passing through the glass.

Recent Airfix releases do not include a few detail parts no doubt to save dollars on mould cutting and what not. I felt that the "towel rack" antennas on the tail was needed. Stretched sprue for that. I really need to clean up the edges.

So there it is and all I can say is roll on Airfix.
