It looks good with the red tips to the tails.

I am going to call this one finished, though there is one minor problem to fix. Even after filling the nose and cockpit front with lead it is still a tail sitter.

To overcome this I have drilled a hole in the front tyre and glued a piece of stretched sprue into it. This will eventually be secured into the base that I now have to create.

I have put quite a dark wash over it to give it a well used look, and posed it on a piece of polystyrene for the pics:

This is quite a nice kit to put together apart from the excessive amount of rivets, the warped tail boom and the need for copious amounts of weight to stop it from being a tail sitter. I would definitely do another, but pose it as an in flight model!

Excellent! That looks great.

Shame about the tail sitter, know all to well how that is. You could put a tiny bit of tac under the front wheel if you don't want to make a base. I've done that on a few and atleast they don't sit on their back in the cabinet.

That is excellent Chip. Neat fix for the tail sitting problem even if it does mean making a base.
