I am sure I can sort it.

Anyone got advice on the best way to put the large sharks mouth decal?

I finally got something right with this one.
The guns went in the holes provided and the nose was attached. Much easier than painting around the machine guns.

Despite the bodged paint work I have started decaling. The decals are think and don't conform very well to the panel lines. I will have to use a fair amount of MicroSol to settle them down. This does not bode well for the sharks mouth decal that has to curve around the nose. :???:

Tonight I hope to get the rest of the decals on - lots of stencils.

Then the U\C & wheels.

I remember having to ream the holes out a bit to get the MGs through, and still bent the longest one at the end. Not the easiest job, but as you say, probably better than trying to airbrush round them.

Unfortunately this is another DNF for me. A mixture of reasons means that I have not finished by the deadline so I will continue with this build on my workbench thread rather than rush to complete it.

3 coats of decal set got mine on-there's a couple of minor wrinkles around the very front of the nose, but given the complexity of the compound curves involved, it doesn't look too bad. The only way I can think of to avoid it is to use a very sharp scalpel to cut through the decal at the front. The downside to that is you risk having the teeth not line up properly. Good luck!
