Two birds with one stone?

Post by philp »

Might take advantage of this and the Blitzbau to build a special model.

My daughter (16) asked me to build a model for her. I asked her what and she said whatever I wanted. First thought was a plane with appropriate nose art. Second was a Steampunked Alice in Wonderland 30mm figure (she loves Alice). When I asked her which, she said both. So like a teen.

So, have a few of the Hobbyboss P-38s in the stash and since is my favorite fighter from WW2 (with the Beau a close runner) think I will do that for her and since the kit is pretty simple, why not blitz it?

Nice choice. But blitzing in the twin-prop GB? Sounds like a plan.
