That's looking good, Chris.

I remember building that one around 1970!!!! My only 1/48 kit when I was a teenager. My Dad brought it back from a trip to New York. Monogram was very exotic brand to a teenager in a small Scottish town.

The masking is removed, everything looks ok

The OD panels are painted as are the props and the turbo supercharges are painted gunmetal and glued on

Looks good Chris. I actually met Marge once (The lady, not the plane). She was the featured speaker at my IPMS chapter and we had a nice little chat. She was a lovely lady.

After 3 hours of trying, I gave up on trying to make the canopy fit. The old mould was designed to really be open and fit like crap.

Luckily squadron products makes a vac for this so I ordered it, the job is on hold till it comes.

Canopies arrived today, but right now I have a bad virus and can't work.

Seems like its always something lately.

No pics, but I painted the canopy and attached it.

Flu continues, and now my eyes are so bad I have to go to the eye doctor today as I can't focus past 2 feet right now.
