To clear up any confusion, some caused by me, this GB has been renamed to simply cover any 'tween wars aircraft in the period January 1919 to August 1939, military or civilian, any markings, any kit, any scale.

Hi guys,

Anyone have any objections to me joining? I have the new tool Airfix Hurricane and Gladiator mkII - both have pre Sept 39 decals in the box.

Regards

Stuart

I'd like to join in as well. A month period is definitely on the short side for me. It usually takes longer than that for me to open the box. (Not really, but it sounded good in my head.) Still, it's longer than a blitzbau. The one in which I participated several years ago was not an enjoyable experience.

Anyway, I have an FM 72nd Ka-14 that I'm anxious to tear into. It meets the requirements being Mitsubishi's prototype to the Claude.
Really nothing pithy to say.

I'm tempted to join this one with the new Airfix Hurricane as the Mk1 all silver Prototype. The Xtradecal set on it's way to me at the moment includes the scheme and decals. I just need to research if there are no more significant alterations than tail-struts, retracting tail wheel, inner gear doors, smaller exhausts and a slightly larger radiator. I think there was originally a squarer canopy but that was changed to the standard type early on in testing. So the conversion shouldn't be that difficult. Unless anyone knows anything else...?

I'd like to participate with my Special Hobby Vindicator and Revell P-26 Peashooter (with Starfighter resin updates).

Time allowing (it wont happen - but who knows), I also have an ICM I-15 that would be a nice addition.

If I can get my Whirlwind finished I'll hopefully join in this with my Curtiss Seagull.
