I'll be building the Revell boxing of the Matchbox Hawker Fury.

As the instructions include a rigging diagram I will be making an attempt to rig it.

Cool. Will it be OOB?
It's a nice hassle-free kit. 8-)

It will be OOB. I built the original Matchbox one back in the day and as I remember it is a nice kit.

Nice looking kit, I am looking forward to seeing how the rigging comes out as I am a first time rigger so am looking for any tips.

This will only be my second time rigging a biplane. The last time was a Frog Vimy which was rigged with black cotton thirty odd years ago.

After giving the cockpit interior a coat of paint the fuselage has been closed up and the lower wing fitted.

It needed a bit of filler underneath at the wing join but I expected that.

Nice one Tim, these seem to go together quite quickly till you hit the rigging.

I think that is about as far as I ever got with this kit. Seems a shame to have never completed one.

Yours is looking good so far.
Really nothing pithy to say.

I've got back to the Fury over the last couple of days. The cowling top has been fitted and most of the painting has been done.

I'm not sure if it will be finished by tomorrow night but it shouldn't be far off.

It almost ended up as a Blitz but I managed to get it finished just before the deadline. I had some trouble fitting the upper wing but apart from that it all went together nicely.

My weekend effort felt like a blitz.
