I'm having trouble finding the erudite and witty prose...

Having had a nasty stomach bug, I am now well behind schedule on this build.
I may not get as far as the rigging. I'm going to try and get the upper wing fixed tonight. Fingers crossed...

If this works, I will have used my supply of luck for the year...
However unlikely things have happened today already. Canada's women's (ice) hockey team beats the US 3-2 for the Gold Medal having spent most of the game 2-0 down...
Tomorrow is tough though. Men's curling. Canada vs GB for the Gold. I'll be cheering for GB. Fickle aren't I?
More news later.

State of play as of 3.30 pm this afternoon. No modelling opportunities until this evening, if number two son cooperates by going to sleep at a reasonable hour!

I spoke too soon. Decals on the rudder!
That was the only successful decalling though. I tried to put the Airfix Kittyhawk decals on the Hobbyboss Kittyhawk and DISINTEGRATION CITY.
At least I made progress with this build!
Cheers

And even more progress! Struts fitted.
A few hairy moments when I knocked off the port exhaust pipe, and also because one of the struts was broken.
Still, it's as good as it's going to get regardless. I've just push fitted the rudder on for the photo.
The wheel hubs got a bit more yellow paint and so did the propeller. That was actually an exhausting bit of modelling, a lot of concentration needed to get it all to work!
Cheers

A whole two wires rigged.
I have also partly done the lines on the horizontal stabilizers too!
But they are difficult to see.

I think you're winning. Strange as a Siskin is not normally a vicious bird.

The kit is fine, but real life is preventing me from getting down to the Basement Lab to get it finished!

Hope your real life returns to a more sedate pace soon to get you back to modelling.
