Chuck, I still don't make choice of color scheme – this will near future. Thanks for a Info!
All wonderful moments of prototype was poor in this kit. Unable to properly build the cockpit. If the glue gun sight on in accordance with the instructions, gun does not fit in the cockpit ...
The engine was placed in the resin, because it could not be done in plastic. Engine cast just awful. I do not know what to do: thank Valom for this model, or curse him? XXI century on the yard ...

Don't give up. The bird looks pretty good from my point of view. I had some problems with the kit at the time but was determined to have a BT-1 in my collection. Then again I may just be stubborn having suffered through a Roden He-111e, knowing how bad the kit was from building the HE-111b when it first came out :P
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

I'll finish this build to the logic end, no doubt. simply regret for manufacturer irresponsibility. I have build Mach2 AJ Savage, similar nuances not problem for me.

Well, what are you going to do? If you want a BT-1, there is not much choice. Pretty much Valom is all there is. I don't have this kit, but I do have Valom's TBD. I'll sometimes take the kit down from the shelf, look inside the box, and quietly put it back. Don't want to build it badly enough. Yet.

It looks like you're making good progress with this one.
Really nothing pithy to say.

The aircraft appears to be coming together. In spite of the problems with the Valom kit, it will be a nice addition to your collection.

Some updatings. I install diving brake flaps in a flying configuration. Cutting, sharpening + others works including.

I solved the problem with the dive brakes by just having them partially open rather than fuss with closing them.

Nothing problem with PE parts. Problem, it's place for this, on the wings parts.

If to insert PE on intended place. PE will stick out over a surface of wings. Place for PE parts must by deeper.
As I already have written earlier, plastic parts have been made carelessly. And it is not a consequence of sort-run technology.

You are right Chuck, BT-1 will finished like VB-5 machine.

I continue to work with paints and airbrush. Keep hope that construction completely finished on March 2. I had some problem with the use of Mr. Masking SOL, I'll should use a fine brush to correct color lines.

Very colourful, and the canopy seems to have come out nice and neat.
