How did you attatch the canopy white or super glue? as it looks huge and it looks like a cracking job of fitting it

That's because you can't see it too closely.....
Anyway, I attached it with Krystal Klear. I have no idea how I managed to get it aligned.
If I was doing it again, I would definitely separate the rear window sections from the canopy first. I'm sure that would make it a lot easier.

Re: VV's _very_ yellow winged Monospar
I found I had a can of yellow. Pretty coarse for this sort of thing but it will definitely beat brushing on Tamiya, which is the only yellow I currently have.
This went on after laying down (1) white primer, (2) Gunze radome tan, (3) Humbrol 74 matt linen. A bit of an ordeal, but the only way I've found so far to get yellow to cooperate.

Looking good. Of course, it has to be finished so we can learn how it turned out.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Re: VV's _very_ yellow winged Monospar
I'm doing my best!
I've cut the lettering as a mask from tape so the rego letters will be yellow against black. Same for the canopy framing. It required a second mask over the usual one. Bit of an effort!
Everything is more or less ready for applying the black, then I should hopefully be on the home stretch.

Going to be interesting when you take all that masking off!

a suggestion: before removing the masking, score around the mask with a sharp blade. You'll be less likely to have the paint tear when you remove the tape.
Looks good. That yellow and black will make for an attractive model.

Really nothing pithy to say.

Thanks for the tip! The paint hasn't adhered so well on this one so far, so that will probably be crucial.johnsan wrote:a suggestion: before removing the masking, score around the mask with a sharp blade. You'll be less likely to have the paint tear when you remove the tape.

The masking looks to have been successful. Nice work.
