My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

So pylons, drop-tanks, and a canopy ? We can run another day ....

Re: Tim's Skyraider
This looks brilliant, especially in those markings. Haven't built this one for years, the last one I had surrendered its fuselage to an AEW.1 conversion but seeing those decals another kit may just go on the wanted list.

It looks very nice so far, looks like it will be worth waiting the extra time to see it.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Re: Tim's Skyraider
Thanks for the extra day John. Here it is with pylons, drop tanks and various other bits added.
I even managed to get a couple of 'lightning flashes' on the pilot's helmet.
Apart from the under fuselage seam (which may have been more my fault than the kit's) everything fitted together well and the old Modeldecals went on well too considering the number of rivets they had to cover.

That's come out very well. What decals did you use?

Re: Tim's Skyraider **Finished**
Thanks for the comments. It really is finished now as I've added the rest of the underwing stores.
Similar markings are available on this sheet.

The decals are from Modedecal sheet no. 9, which is no longer available. I bought mine back in the early 90's.TobyC wrote:What decals did you use?
