Toby's jet engined pirate. Deceased. It is no more.

Post by TobyC »

Going to use the 1/72 Airfix A7D/E Corsair 11 with a Pavla ejection seat and markings supplied by Microscale for either the VA-87 CAG U.S.S. Independence or VA-81 CAG U.S.S. Forrestal.
I have a shed load of ordnance by Hasegawa so I'm going to load it right up.

I won't start until the weekend as I still have a Hurricane to finish.

Nice, one of my kids has started building one, seems to go together really well, and they loved all the bombs. I over heard "How many bombs have you got?" "nah nah I've got more than you"

Cheers

The guy who owns the chippy said it was by far the biggest piece he'd ever seen in the 20 years he's been there. I now can't move :)

There's something about the A7 Corsair that sends tingles down my spine. The AC Cobra has the same effect as does Angelina Jolie

What if Angelina Jolie drove up to an A 7 Corsair in an AC Cobra? :-D

A day off today to go fluff chucking

12lbs of rainbow trout ended up being enticed by my piece of fluff.

Oh yeah, tasty Rainbows. Have had a few flyfishing. Around 38cm is the legal size in these parts. They run up the Carp River out of Lake Superior. Way to go Toby.
