One thing I've learnt. Don't attach underwing pylons until major spraying has been done.
Plot almost lost this morning.

Interesting that the decals for the rear tail wings don't match up to the ones on the instructions

On the plus side they do go on with very little effort.

After an incident with one set or decals when I hadn't put enough gloss varnish down to aid transfer I've had to go for option 2

Lovely, the black will look a lot better painted any way. Cheers Jim

I have given up with this. Too many problems mainly of my own doing and trying to cut corners. Putting on underwing pylons before spraying fuselage, not attaching ordnance separately etc. Decals broke up due to my haste not to let them soak enough prior to removal and then my attempts to paint on stripes resulted in the decals coming off even though I'd applied two coats of varnish over them. Also my masking didn't follow the correct lines so it's going to be the second model since my return that is going to be hidden from sight and mind. Still I've got lots of small decals like no step etc that can be used on other kits. have another 5 Corsairs so not the end of the world.

Sorry to hear that but when it's not fun, I also agree that it's time to stop. Maybe after you've put it aside for awhile, you will come back to it. That's happened to me a couple of times over the years.

Sorry to hear you've been having problems with it. Best to leave it for a while and maybe come back to it later.
