Re: Sign-up and Chat
I know David, but I want to kick off my Sci Fi build on time as GL, and my Mig 21 as well!
I'm still peeved I missed the Navy build since it was my idea!

Re: Sign-up and Chat
A big thank you to David for running a great GB I have really enjoyed it.
Sorry I had a DNF with the big MkV but that was always going to be a challenge, but on the bright side I'm happy with my three smaller builds.
Regards Splash

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Re: Sign-up and Chat
Cheers Splash.
This GB worked out very well with twenty eight completed builds and six DNF kits including two that only just missed the deadline. I have really enjoyed building Spitfires en bloc and intend to continue on a regular basis starting with the completion of my DNF, the BBMF maintenance build. Thank you to all those who took part, the standard of the models built has been brilliant.

Yes it has been fun. We should do it again, after all you can never have too many.

I will add my thanks to the list David. Even with life's little curve balls, it turned out great fun.

Well Done, David and All !!!
I did enjoy it, scarce as I was at times - the new-tool Airfix is a good kit and I wish I had had time to do several of them, it would have been rather easy as the kit assembles well.
Get your final pix posted, final thoughts in, as I'll probably close this tomorrow.

Thanks to David for running the GB. Although I only managed to build one I have got my part built Airfix 1/72 Mk 22 back on the bench.

Re: Sign-up and Chat
I was moderately happy with my Mk.1. It went together great, and my new a/b was fantastic, its just the paints that let it down. Which Is why I don't post any pictures of a closeup of the tail.
