Good choice Chris. It's a very nice model and goes together pretty good.

Will add even more variety to the scales in which we build here.

I am interested in seeing what colour people use for the cockpit interior. I have tried several colours and never really been happy with any of them.

I've been quite happy with Revell Aqua-colour "fern green". Might not be 100%, but it looks nice enough to me!

Vallejo has the correct color in its RAF day fighter set, I use that.

Does this help, not entirely accurate as they are meant to be shown on a screen but they give you an idea of what to look for when you pick colours at the LMS.

It appears to be a case of "Each to there own" on this. The Revell call-out is for Matt 67 - Greenish grey, but it looks too dark to me. I have Lifecolour UA 139 Bluegrey in the box, and this looks quite close to the Spitfire swatch on David's post so I am going to give that a try.

Supermarine had their own colour for the Spitfire which was lighter than the MAP grey-green and pre-war they had another distinctly apple-like green-
